Sadiona Abazaj
School Principal
With over fourteen years of experience teaching in international schools and lecturing at universities, Sadiona has graduated with three master's degrees and a bachelor's degree in Educational Leadership, English Language Teaching, and Intercultural Communication, all with excellent results. She is a qualified teacher and school principal in Finland. Sadiona is also the author of three publications in international journals and an active speaker and participant in various conferences and seminars in Europe. Her aim is to develop an aspirational school community that engages in all senses. Additionally, she has the skill to cope with new challenges and environments. She believes her major responsibility is to maintain continuous academic advancement in the future.
Pinja Suojoki
Vice Principal/ Primary School Teacher
Pinja is a distinguished music lecturer, violin teacher, and early childhood educator with a rich background in music education. With over 10 years of experience in managing educational units and nineteen years specializing in music improvisation, Pinja excels in teaching music across various age groups and levels.
Her expertise extends to planning activities and curricula based on Montessori pedagogy, showcasing her ability to create engaging and individualized learning experiences. Pinja is adept at conveying information in a profound and detailed manner, consistently striving for excellence and enriching her students' educational journey through her dedicated commitment.
Timea Asztalos
Head of Didactics / Primary School Teacher
Tímea is a passionate primary school teacher who holds a Bachelor's degree from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary, and a Master's degree in Learning, Digitalization and Sustainability from Jönköping University, Sweden.
She brings experience in alternative Montessori pedagogy, having worked at an international Montessori Primary School in Budapest. Tímea integrates this approach into her teaching. She is a caring and dedicated primary school teacher, passionate about nurturing young minds. She is committed to helping each student reach their full potential. With her innovative teaching methods, students can expect a welcoming and engaging learning experience that lays a strong foundation for their educational journey.
Maria Aguar Pla
Primary School Teacher
Maria is a dedicated kindergarten and primary school teacher with a focus on English. She studied at the Catholic University of Valencia and is currently pursuing a Master of Educational Sciences in Changing Education at the University of Helsinki.
With international experience from Spain, Finland, and Mozambique, Maria has worked in diverse educational settings, designing inclusive lesson plans, supporting students with varying learning needs, and collaborating with families and colleagues. Her background includes alternative and bilingual education, volunteer teacher training in Mozambique, and leadership as Chair of the English-Speaking Student Association at the University of Helsinki.
Maria is passionate about fostering curiosity, creativity, and social growth in young learners, creating engaging and supportive classrooms where students can thrive academically and personally.
Priyata Deb
Secondary School Teacher
Priyata is a caring and enthusiastic secondary school teacher at Norden International School. She began her teaching journey as an English Assistant Teacher at GPH International School in Bangladesh, where she helped students develop confidence in communication and a love for learning. With a background in Computer Science and ongoing Master’s studies in Industrial Management at the University of Vaasa, she brings both creativity and analytical skills to her teaching. Priyata is passionate about supporting every student to discover their strengths, think critically, and believe in their own potential.
