Introducing Grade 0 at Norden International School of Helsinki

We are excited to announce that Norden International School of Helsinki will be introducing Grade 0 (ages 5-7) to our educational offerings.

Grade 0, also known as pre-primary or reception, marks the beginning of formal education in many countries. At Norden International School, Grade 0 is designed to ease young learners into the school environment while laying a strong foundation in basic literacy and numeracy skills. This program also emphasizes social and emotional development, preparing children for a successful academic journey.

Our Grade 0 program aims to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Through engaging activities and tailored instruction, we focus on developing essential skills that will support their future learning and personal development.

Goals / Objectives

The goal of grade 0 is to prepare children for more formal academic learning in the years to come. By providing a nurturing and supportive environment, children can begin to develop a love for learning and gain the confidence they need to succeed in school.

The Grade 0 curriculum at Norden International School is designed to provide a rich, engaging introduction to formal education for young learners. This foundational stage focuses on developing key skills that prepare children for future academic success and personal growth.
