Sadiona Abazaj

Principal (Maternity leave)

With an experience of over eleven years of teaching in international schools and lecturing at Universities, Mrs. Abazaj has graduated with three Masters and a Bachelor's degree in Educational Leadership, English Language Teaching, and Intercultural Communication, with excellent results. She is a qualified teacher and school principal in Finland. The author of three publications in international journals and an active speaker and participant in various conferences and seminars in Europe. Mrs. Abazaj´s aim is to develop an aspirational school community that engages in all senses. She has the skill of coping with new challenges and new environments as well. She believes her major responsibility is to maintain continuous academic advancement in the future.

Juho Park

Teacher

Juho graduated from a Gyeong-In national university in Korea and studied primary teacher education. He was working as a primary school teacher in Korea until he decided to study Media education at the University of Tampere. After attaining the master's degree he got enrolled in the Vocational Teacher Education Program at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences after which he got to be a qualified teacher in Finland. He has been working as a preschool teacher in an English Kindergarten in Finland for one year, where he got the benefits of understanding the importance of promoting children's safety, practicing positive discipline methods, and understanding students' growth from age 2 to 12. Currently, he finished studying Primary teacher education in Turku university and became a qualified class teacher (luokanopettaja) in Finland. Juho has deep knowledge of pedagogy, educational psychology, and media literacy. His piano-playing skills and singing skills are a great asset as a class teacher as well. He is looking forward to his future journey to learn and grow as a better educator. 

Edward Pode

Teacher

Mr. Pode graduated from King’s College London with a PostGraduate Certificate in Education and a Master's in Mathematics education.  He has worked in the education sector since 2015 with experience in both UK and Finnish schools.  Edward is familiar with assessments from the UK, EU, and American systems. Edward conducted research into the use of technology to overcome disability at King’s College and works to bring the best out of students whatever issues they may face. Edward makes 3D art as a hobby and looks forward to introducing this novel art medium in the classroom.

Timea Asztalos  

Teacher (Art & Craft, Afternoon club)

Tímea is a primary school teacher, who got her degree at Eotvos Lorand Science University in Budapest, Hungary. She decided to come to Finland right away when she finished her studies and she have done her internship at our school. After being an intern for a year she has decided she wants to join the Norden Team. 
She also has experience in alternative Montessori pedagogy as she worked in an International Montessori Primary School in Budapest. She uses this approach in her teaching. 
Tímea is a caring and dedicated primary school teacher who is passionate about nurturing young minds. With her innovative teaching methods, students are sure to find a welcoming and engaging learning experience that sets a strong foundation for their educational journey. She is committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
